Description: Payroll Specialist Full Time Day Shift Abrazo Regional Office
Come join our team as a professional Payroll Specialist. Our payroll team is responsible for the full cycle payroll processing for 20,000 employees in the southwest region (CA & AZ) as a part of TENET HEALTH. While working collaboratively in a team environment, you will ensure correct payment is made to all employees while processing and maintaining accurate payroll records in compliance with state and federal regulations, SOX, policies & procedures.
SPECIAL SKILLS: The ideal candidate will have the Ability to interact with management and staff to resolve payroll related issues. Is detailed orientated and can work under a minimum of supervision. The ability to maintain strict confidentiality of payroll related information is a must.
This position requires a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills, which allows you to work independently resolving issues via telephone and email. We are a fast paced office, with an expanding business, and are looking to hire an individual with diverse skills. MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent GED
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Six months to one year experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: One to two years payroll experience preferred. Works well within a team and can work independently. Experience with Kronos Time and Attendance system knowledge preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: AZ Driver License in good standing.
