Under the direction of the Director of Health Equity, the Project Manager will lead and participate in the integration of health equity data collection activities for CHRISTUS Health. The Project Manager is expected to interface directly with the regions in both a strategic and tactical manner to affect change with data insights throughout the organization. Work with regions to establish effective measurement on equity of care priorities for various operations and community funded programs. Spearhead compilation, reporting and GIS-enabled mapping of data, statistical analyses and reports to support community health needs assessments and community health implementation plans. Inform and collaborate with regions on identifying needs for critical policy decisions and community health program design needs. The Project Manager will establish work priorities, and plans; directs and monitors project work. Maintains project issues and reports to Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion board and communicates to the project steering teams on progress of critical path items. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Project Manager will gather and evaluate information concerning a regions' conceptual needs, estimate and schedule project activities and associated costs, coordinate and participate in analysis/design/coding activities, ensure that system changes are fully tested, ensure users are fully trained and prepared, associated guideline and procedure requirements are met, and coordinate implementation of the changes. Status/report of all active projects will be reported on a real-time basis.
Work with departments and local regional communities to define, develop, and review processes around health equity reporting, data needs, and geospatial analysis, and program evaluation.
Capture, store, and analyze massive amounts of geographically-referenced data that recognize disparate health outcomes seen across different population groups based on race, ethnicity, and class status, stemming from the inequitable economic and social conditions, to inform systemic and public policies.
Serves as a project manager on major complex projects, initiatives and/or implementation projects.
Participates in organizational planning and assists with the determination of program evaluation needs, the design of a plan, timeline to meet the needs. Researches alternative measures of program effectiveness, as well as monitors record keeping. Prepares program evaluation reports.
Delivery of regular and annual reports to all stakeholders (both written and oral reports)
Establishes schedules and methods for achieving project goals and objectives, and reviews work products, make corrections and coordinates staff training and development efforts.
Relationship Management: Develops relationships with organizations and departments based upon industry knowledge, and how technology application can lead to competitive advantage. Sets direction based upon prioritized projects. Oversees projects and ensures completion within budget. Recommends related investments. Understands local issues and personalities. Advises local and corporate steering teams. Ensures projects are made up of the right people with the appropriate skill sets. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Manages and oversees outcomes data by collecting information on a quarterly basis from program supervisors and by reporting this information during corporate and regional meetings.
Spearhead health equity data analytics by gathering, compiling, modeling, validating, and analyzing data needed by the organization; as well as guide the progressive development of automated health equity reporting.
Serve as an innovative contributor in designing new approaches to caring for our vulnerable communities
Manage multiple projects, as well as meet time constraints and expectations.

Master's degree in a related field strongly preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or very strong technical skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, strongly preferred

Previous experience managing projects of small to medium scope and complexity.
Health care data analysis, or development and maintenance of data systems/methods/designs, programming (EG, SAS, SQL), or statistical analysis.
Experience in measurement and evaluation
Working with large datasets and/or data systems; predictive modeling; geospatial analysis; data collection methods and data quality management techniques; database management concepts and requirements gathering, and data presentation or informatics.
Managing cross-functional teams to achieve goals on or ahead of schedule.
