Under the direction of the President/Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Director of Operations/Compliance and Security Officer is responsible for directing activities related to healthcare operations; licensure and regulatory issues; administrative services including: maintenance, housekeeping and physical plant operations, safety and security, and risk management activities. The incumbent must also oversee the efforts to expand Health Center services and community outreach. The incumbent will consult with providers and ancillary clinical staff to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of clinical processes, and directs social programs and outreach that support the implementation of population health management, care coordination and management strategies. The Incumbent will oversee procurement and availability of medical supplies and equipment. The incumbent will have routine access to individually identifiable health information including the patients’ entire medical records on a need-to-know basis only. They will also interact and coordinate efforts with the Departments of Quality Assurance, Social Services, Clinical Serves, Finance, and Information Systems.
In the role of Compliance and Security Officer they will be responsible for developing, implementing, directing, and overseeing the policies related to the operational aspects of the health center. Work directly with the Chief Medical Officer to manage the implementation of the QI/QA plan including the health center’s infection control program and risk management. The incumbent functions as Risk Manager for the organization.

Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration or clinical/healthcare specialty
5-10 years health care experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Physician environment experience in practice transformation/quality improvement, and population health in a FQHC and/or ambulatory care setting
Demonstrated expertise in healthcare information management systems (EMR)
Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and organizational skills essential
